Animal Samaritans believes in the healing power of animal-human connections and views all living creatures with compassion and respect, with a primary focus on dogs, cats, and the people who love them. Animal Samaritans is dedicated to improving the lives of animals and people.
The no-kill shelter is a refuge for at-risk, adoptable dogs and cats. They house, feed & water, socialize, and provide medical care for these animals until they match them with their new humans and new forever homes. They also provide quality, affordable full-service standard veterinary care at their medical facilities in Indio and Thousand Palms. Animal Samaritans offer financial aid for qualifying low-income pet owners.
