April 22, 2022 Palm Desert, CA – Local organizers have planned a walk on El Paseo to bring the community together in support of Ukraine on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 9:30 AM called “We Stand with Ukraine.” The walk will begin at The Gardens on El Paseo at 73545 El Paseo, Palm Desert, CA 92260 and conclude at Wildest, the event sponsor, at 72990 El Paseo #3, Palm Desert, CA 92260.
Nadia Popova, a local small business owner and Ukrainian, is the organizer and says she wants to bring the community together in support of peace and love in the world.
Popova’s family is still in the Ukraine currently – she fundraises for them and for orphan children in the Ukraine during this time of devastation and war. She plans to take donations at the walk.
Everyone is invited to come together and participate.
