Palm Desert, California – August 31, 2023 – The Women Leaders Forum of the Coachella Valley (WLF) announces its highly anticipated 2023-2024 Season with the return of its immensely popular, “Let’s Interact: A Speaker Series.” The inaugural event will take place on September 7, 2023, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at The Classic Club, setting the stage for an engaging and inspiring journey that will run monthly from September 2023 to April 2024.
“Let’s Interact” is more than just an ordinary networking or educational event; it’s an opportunity to forge meaningful connections and foster relationships that go beyond the traditional business setting. President Jenell Vandenbos expresses, “It is about building and strengthening meaningful relationships with the women in the Coachella Valley, whether you have been here for several decades or just days.”
This highly anticipated event brings together women from across the valley, offering a platform to share experiences, inspire connection, and exchange valuable advice. Membership reflects the growing diversity within the valley, and these monthly sessions showcase local Coachella Valley women who are making a remarkable difference in our community and serving as role models for aspiring young women leaders.
New resident and WLF Vice President Chris Carter, who recently relocated from Atlanta, GA, shared her experience, stating, “This is a terrific way to get involved in the community, develop new friendships, and discover women-owned and operated products and services. As this area welcomes a growing number of new residents, WLF acts as a remarkable support system, nurturing a thriving community where members can explore new opportunities and connect with like-minded professionals.”
This September’s kick-off event promises an engaging and interactive mindset workshop that aims to elevate leadership skills. The session will be facilitated by Katie Stice, President and CEO of the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce. Attendees will also hear from WLF business members, who will each introduce their business, products, and services to attendees with special offers and incentives. Headshots will be taken by photographer and business member Lani Garfield, with proceeds supporting the Young Women Leaders scholarship fund.
