In 1999 Mark and Sharon began what they consider to be the privilege of serving Rancho Mirage and the entire Coachella Valley with beautiful fresh flowers. Sharon worked for the previous owners of RMF for 6 years prior to buying the florist. She began in a simple design class because of a tug to her heart for the love of flowers. Mark came in from the restaurant industry where the skills he needed there transferred seamlessly into the floral industry. After taking on ownership they wanted to take this already outstanding florist to a new level. They wanted to offer the freshest and most unique cut flowers available. This meant Mark driving into the flower market each week enabling him to hand pick beautiful flowers that came from all over the world. Mark & Sharon, along with their staff, belief that each time a client calls they have something important to say and that special sentiment calls for a unique design created with that in mind.
Over the years they have participated in many donations and partnerships with non- profit charities that benefit our community. They attribute their success to understanding that the value of the floral designs sent as gifts are very simply the messages of the hearts of their clients who send them. Their mission statement has always been, “A florist shouldn’t be just a flower shop. It can be a place where blessings flow in and out of & that one truly can “say it with flowers.”
