A general economic update from Eric Kreiger, CFA, Research Analyst, a municipal research analyst for Raymond James Asset Management, covering:

Eric Kreiger is a research analyst for the Eagle Fixed Income team. He is a generalist within the investment grade municipal bond market. He has 9 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Eagle Asset Management in 2017, he joined Raymond James in 2015 through their OPTIONS program rotating through several distinct business units of the firm. Outside of work, he is an active Lunch Pals mentor and volunteer for MacDonald Training Center. Kreiger earned a Bachelor of Science in finance and economics from Florida Gulf Coast University and a Master of Science in finance from Florida State University. He is a CFA charter holder.

Tourism is key to the valley’s success! At this luncheon, we connect with the Executive Director, Harry Barrett, Jr. AAE, of the Palm Springs International Airport to learn more about the latest flights and airlines coming to the destination. Then, Visit Greater Palm Springs will give an update on their tourism efforts, results and plans for the future here in the Coachella Valley.

August 24: Housing Update with Lift to Rise

Lift to Rise is revolutionizing the way affordable housing is financed in our community. The cost of housing in the Coachella Valley is high—the median price for a single-family home is $549,000. And incomes are too low—49% of Coachella households earn below $50,000 per year. “We Lift” is the result of more than 70 community partners and their multi-year effort to change the way we develop affordable housing. It’s a groundbreaking solution that pools resources to attract additional capital, allowing local developers to get their community-focused projects built—creating more places that people can call home. This fund is integral to reaching our goal of building 10,000 affordable homes by 2028.

Registration can be made on the chamber’s website and tickets are $55 per person which includes the presentation, networking, lunch, and self introductions.
