Shrek the Musical is based on the 2001 DreamWorks Oscar-award winning animated film, Shrek. Although the story of Shrek the Musical is best known as an animated film, the characters, and spectacular costumes come to life, live, on-stage at PCT. The story begins with the ogre living happily and alone in his swamp until Lord Farquaad evicts the fairy kingdom to Shrek’s land. With the help of Donkey, Shrek rescues Princess Fiona in an attempt to regain control of his land. But Shrek gets more than he bargained for in the princess. This adventure-filled journey features music by Jeanine Tesori and book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire.

Show times for Shrek The Musical are 7 p.m. on Thursdays; 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays; and 2 p.m. on Sundays.
