La Quinta, CA – [March 6, 2024] – La Quinta Artists Open Studio Tours provides art enthusiasts an opportunity to explore the studios of La Quinta’s most talented individuals, all while supporting a good cause. Local artists open their doors to the public in this highly anticipated two-day event, scheduled for Friday, March 15th, and Saturday, March 16th, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Maps detailing the locations of each participating artist’s studio and wristbands will be available at Old Town Artisan Studios, the central hub for the event, for $10 starting at 10:00 am on both tour dates. 100% of proceeds go towards art programs at Old Town Artisan Studios.
Old Town Artisan Studios (OTAS), a 501(c)3 non-profit, proudly hosts the La Quinta Artists Open Studio Tours. The event is a continuation of the rich legacy entrusted by the La Quinta Historical Society and La Quinta Museum to Old Town Artisan Studios. Isabela Garcia, OTAS Gallery and Events Coordinator, states “By continuing the legacy of the La Quinta Artists Open Studio Tours, we are nurturing the creative landscape here in the City of La Quinta. It’s important to note that the relationship between the community, its artists, the galleries, and museums all support one another. We highly encourage everyone to participate in the tours to help sustain La Quinta’s unique artistic identity.”
Participating artists in this year’s event include Cristina P. Acosta, Marcia L. Cutchin, Robin Hart, Henriette Heiny, Cheryl V. Kamolz, Emily Kincaid, Colleen Anne Kline, Kalinda Kunis, Tolley L. Marney, Judy Mickel, Teri Lee Miller, Candice Slobin-Ross, Kelly Walter, Robert E. Weil, Jan Wader, Garrison Wayne, Darleen Wilkerson, Lauren Youngs, and Shay Nadler.
