Frank Tovar, MBA Property and Operations Manager
As a licensed realtor and MBA graduate, Frank brings to the team 30 years of real estate experience, 13 of those as a commercial Property Manager. At The River, he oversees day to day operations, capital improvement projects, and leasing. His humility, kind demeanor, and strong will to find a solution to every problem quickly made him a strong presence, not only at The River, but the City of Rancho Mirage. Of all properties he has managed he says, “By far, The River is a unique property which is not your typical destination center, it is community.”
Carly A. Nelson Leasing and Assistant Property Manager
Carly began her 10-year career in property management at Fashion Island, a popular outdoor retail center in Newport Beach. From the beginning she has been a hands-on worker, ready to learn and take on any challenge. Relocating with her family to the Coachella Valley launched a new chapter for Carly as the Assistant Property Manager at The River. Taking on a new endeavor this year, she joined the leasing team where she contributes a broad depth of local knowledge and market insight. She takes on every project with a smile and “can do” attitude, always ready to listen to the needs of others and help any way she can. Working for The River she says “Moving to Coachella Valley gave me the opportunity to be a part of The River at Rancho Mirage where I work with a small yet powerful team to manage and build The River into the future experience of outdoor centers.”

Newest to the team Annemarie comes with over 30 years of experience as an Event Coordinator. She has hosted a variety of events, such as weddings, expo’s, musical events, art shows, charity, and sporting events, both for private clients and for local businesses throughout the Coachella Valley. Her degree in Marketing and Communications has assisted in an extended background in bilingual radio and TV advertising. Her determination and passion for what she does results in events that not only create a fun environment, but a lasting memory.
