There is an exciting line up of free live music at The Penney Restaurant & Bar on Desert Island showcasing alternative live music options to the big festivals.
Headlining in April on 20th and 27th (5:30pm-8:30pm) it’s the super-popular locals, Fun With Dick & Jane Band, whose musical careers span all the major music festivals.
Fun With Dick and Jane Band are more like an experience than just a band. Their musical tribute to Woodstock flows effortlessly into the 70’s and 80’s with their rock-pop collection of favorites filled with lush harmonies and moody grooves. Veterans of the music biz, they share their experiences with their audience. Their ability to transport people back in time, their great sound and their compelling song-list, promises to provide an infectiously fun adventure in music and an unforgettable evening. “They always bring it!”
Through April and May on Wednesday evenings There Penney has special guest acts, including the hugely popular Doug and Meg.
Thursday evening shows are with local legend Slim Man, singing rat pack classics.
Friday evenings features the super-cool Black Market Jazz, a trio of talent!
Saturday evenings (other than April 20th and 27th) stars another SoCal favorite, the multi-talented Rick Ross, who sings and plays piano and sax!
