Join Us for the 34th Annual United Cerebral Policy of the Empire (UCPIE) Bowl-a-Thon: A Day of Friendship, Bowling, and Giving Back!

United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empires is thrilled to announce the 34th Annual United Cerebral Palsy of the Empire (UCPIE) Bowl-a-Thon.  This exciting, with the Coachella Valley Firebirds as our presenting sponsor, taking place on September 21, 2024, at Palm Springs Lane, 68051 Ramon Rd. in Cathedral City. Luau sponsors are the Indio Police Officers Association and the Law Offices Walter Clark, and the delicious pizza is sponsored by Mario’s Italian Café in Palm Desert.

 

Bowling Fun: Show off your skills and enjoy friendly competition in a relaxed, island-themed setting. This exciting community event promises a day filled with friendship, bowling, and opportunities to make a positive impact.

The UCPIE Bowl-a-Thon is more than just a bowling event; it’s a celebration of inclusion and support for individuals with intellectual disabilities, including those with Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Down Syndrome, Epilepsy, and more. Participants will come together to bowl for a cause, raising funds to support essential programs and services for individuals and families in our community.

“We are thrilled to host the 34th Annual UCPIE Bowl-a-Thon and bring our community together for a day of fun and philanthropy,” said John Sprogis President/CEO at United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empire. “Through this event, we hope to raise awareness and support for individuals with intellectual disabilities while fostering a sense of unity and inclusivity.”

 

There are multiple ways to get involved in the UCPIE Bowl-a-Thon:

  1. Gather your ohana, friends, or coworkers and form a team to participate in the bowling action. Registration is open to bowlers of all skill levels, and each participant will have the opportunity to make a positive impact while enjoying a day of friendly competition.
  2. Volunteer: We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help us make the event a success. Whether you’re interested in assisting with event setup, registration, or serving as a lane attendant, your support is invaluable in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
  3. Donate: Can’t attend the event? You can still make a difference by making a donation to support our cause.  You can still share the aloha by making a donation through our website, no matter the size, helps us continue providing essential programs and services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families.  Even better, do you have items you would like to share so that we can use them for silent auction or opportunity drawings.
