IE Ronald McDonald House Releases 2023 Impact Report
Rancho Mirage, CA (January 25, 2023)—On Thursday, February 29th, Coachella Valley residents are invited to bring new and unopened cleaning supplies and toilet paper to Maracas Cantina in Rancho Mirage for the “Leap Day Soirée and Supply Drive” benefitting the Inland Empire Ronald McDonald House (IERMH). In addition to the supply drive, the event will feature Happy Hour drink specials and complimentary appetizers for attendees, courtesy of Maracas Cantina. There will also be opportunities to make cash and credit card donations and purchase Ronald McDonald House socks for $10. All proceeds will benefit IERMH. The housekeeping staff at the House is especially in need of single-fold paper towels, stainless steel cleaner, and toilet paper, so bring these or other cleaning supplies to Maracas Cantina to make your impact in 2024!
Every year hundreds of Coachella Valley residents stay at the IERMH—located in Loma Linda, CA—while their children receive medically necessary care at nearby hospitals and medical facilities. In 2023 alone, 460 Coachella Valley residents spent a combined total of 2,470 nights at the House. This event is an opportunity to meet IERMH staff, board members, and supporters while making a difference for local families navigating the challenges of having a hospitalized child.
