Here’s the Scoop: The Sweetest Toy Drive Ever!
Ben & Jerry’s and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department join forces!
Friday, December 6th, 2019 and
Saturday, December 7th, 2019
6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Join us at The River in Rancho Mirage.
Please help us brighten the Holidays for an underprivileged child. Donate a new, unwrapped toy or sports equipment valued at $10.00 or more and you will receive a free scoop from Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream. We will be collecting toys for children up to age 12.
Riverside County Sheriff’s team members will be on-site to accept your donation. This is a great opportunity to enjoy the magic of holiday lights, music and cheer.
Ben & Jerry’s @ The River recognizes, “Children are one of our nation’s most valuable resources. Today’s children are tomorrow’s leaders – civic, business, and social. This is an alarming statistic, approximately 15 million American children live in poverty. The new toy a needy child receives during the holidays delivers a message of hope and we want to be a part of that.”
All donations will be forwarded to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department and will benefit children of the valley who deputies interact and meet during their patrol shifts and/or are recommended by school counselors.
