Forest Lawn Promotes Dennis Madison to Senior Vice President—Architecture & Engineering

GLENDALE, CA—Forest Lawn Memorial-Parks & Mortuaries President & CEO Darin Drabing announced the promotion of Dennis Madison to Senior Vice President–Architecture & Engineering. In his new role he is responsible for the design, development, and modification of cemetery property, infrastructure, and buildings, including the management and conservation of water resources and energy in compliance with regulatory agencies and the association’s long-term objectives. Dennis has been with Forest Lawn since 1992 and has served in multiple roles, including Vice President–Environmental Compliance, where he led the team responsible for the
multifaceted environmental health and safety compliance of the organization for over fifteen years. He is a Registered Environmental Health Specialist and Qualified Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) Practitioner with the State of California and a Certified Permitting Professional with the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD). He has spoken at numerous Cemetery and Mortuary Association of California (CMAC) and International Cemetery, Cremation & Funeral Association (ICCFA) conferences. He holds a BS in Civil Engineering and a master’s degree in Environmental and Occupational Health, both from California State University Northridge (CSUN).
