Forest Lawn-Glendale’s bilingual service and Family Easter Celebration are
featured events in parkwide 100th anniversary Easter morning series

GLENDALE, CA—Forest Lawn will celebrate its centennial Easter Sunrise Service with six in-person events across its Southern California locations. Forest Lawn-Glendale’s 100th anniversary service is the featured event and offers bilingual services in English and Spanish. The Glendale service will be followed by the Family Easter Celebration, which includes Bob Baker Marionettes, an easter egg hunt, Easter Bunny photos, arts & crafts, petting zoo, awe-inspiring unveilings of Forest Lawn’s monumental Crucifixion and Resurrection paintings, the 100 Years of Easter at Forest Lawn exhibit at Forest Lawn Museum, and more. The free centennial events take place on Sunday, March 31, 2024, from 6:00-7:30 AM at Forest Lawn’s Cathedral City, Covina Hills, Cypress, Glendale, Hollywood Hills, and Long Beach locations. Forest Lawn-Glendale’s Family Easter Event will follow services and take place from 8:00-10:00 AM.
Highlights for the Glendale Easter Sunrise Service include:

Forest Lawn’s Easter Sunrise Service events will take place take place on Sunday, March 31, 2024, beginning at 6:00 AM at Forest Lawn’s Cathedral City, Covina Hills, Cypress, Glendale, Hollywood Hills, and Long Beach locations. In addition, the Family Easter Celebration at Forest Lawn-Glendale will run from 8:00 AM through 10:00 AM, immediately following the Sunrise Services program. Convenient parking is offered at each park location.
Event History:
Since 1924, Forest Lawn has invited the community to greet the dawn on Easter Sunday with its Easter Sunrise Service. The 100-year-old tradition began atop Glendale’s Mount Forest Lawn Glendale, the site of this year’s Glendale Easter Sunrise Service and Family Easter Celebration.
