Forest Lawn Memorial-Parks & Mortuaries President & CEO Darin Drabing announced the appointment of Vicky Franco as Vice President–Coachella Valley. An alumna of Cypress College’s Mortuary Science program with a decade of experience in funeral service, Ms. Franco joined Forest Lawn’s management team in 2011. Since then, she has held increasing roles of responsibility, most recently as General Manager-Coachella Valley. “Vicky is a valued member of the community and our organization,” said Drabing. “Her talents, commitment, and care are a natural fit for her new responsibilities.” A member of the Indio Women’s Club, Vicky also serves on the board of the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce and Our Lady of Guadalupe Coachella Valley Chapter. Ms. Franco succeeds Larry Davis, who retired after 18 years with Forest Lawn, capping a 51-year career in funeral service.
