Rancho Mirage, CA. – It is with a sense of both sadness and excitement that we share the news that Anne Blalock will be leaving her chamber of commerce role and joining the Palm Springs International Film Society as the Philanthropy Relations Manager. As she embarks on this new chapter in her career, this new role will allow her to stretch her professional boundaries and explore new avenues of growth.
“While I’m thrilled to embark on a new adventure, I also want you to know I’ll miss the camaraderie, the shared experiences, and the sense of community we’ve fostered together. Your support, trust, and friendship have meant the world to me. Being at the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce for the last 3 years has been more than just a workplace – it has been a family. The community has been incredible to work with as I’ve witnessed your growth, your successes, and supporting you when you needed to pivot through the challenges. You kept showing up with passion and commitment to your community. While this marks the end of my 17 years in the chamber industry, it is not a goodbye. I will always cherish the memories, and the relationships built. I am just a phone call or email away. I remain committed to supporting you, cheering you on, and being a resource.” – Anne Blalock
Anne’s last day with the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce is tomorrow, August 29th. Her new email is: Anne@PSFilmFest.org
“Anne will be missed greatly! She’s been a kind-hearted community friend and leader for so many years. She has dedicated herself to the industry like few others have been able to do. With love, care, excitement and inspiration – we root on Anne to keep doing GREAT things in our Coachella Valley community! We can’t wait to see her soar!” – Katie Stice, President
