A new partnership brings Broadway to the City’s Amphitheater

RANCHO MIRAGE, CA (March 9, 2020) – Desert Theatricals is pleased to announce MOSTLY BROADWAY starring Broadway star David Burnham.  One night only on Saturday, March 28, 2020.  The gates open at 5:30 for general admission seating and Acqua California Bistro will be on hand with plenty of food and beverage options.  Tickets are just $48 for general admission tickets.   Or enjoy a waiter served, three course meal from your private table in the first three tiers of the theatre for just $100 per seat.  The show begins at 7:30pm.

Come and share a magical evening with Broadway Veteran David Burnham!  His powerful vocal stylings will delight as he takes you on an evening of mostly Broadway tunes in a 75 minute one act show! David Burnham was last seen on Broadway in the mega-hit musical, “Wicked”, playing Fiyero, a role that he originated in the developmental workshops of the show. He is an original Broadway cast member of the musical “The Light In The Piazza”, performing both on the Tony Awards and the PBS telecast “Live From Lincoln Center.” David first gained critical acclaim when, after a two year search, he was chosen to replace Donny Osmond as Joseph in the national tour of “Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” (Dramalogue Award). He toured nationally in another Andrew Lloyd Webber blockbuster playing Peter in “Jesus Christ Superstar.” Also in NYC he was in the original cast of the Off-Broadway show “The Best Is Yet to Come – The Music Of Cy Coleman,” and in Las Vegas, he starred in “Showstoppers” at the Wynn Resort.  On film he was the voice of the Prince in the Warner Bros. animated feature “The King And I,” and can be heard on the soundtracks to “Ghepetto,” Disney’s “Home On The Range” and Comedy Central’s “South Park”.  www.davidburnham.com.
