Palm Desert, CA – November 1, 2023 – Desert Sun | LocaliQ, part of the USA TODAY Network, Pocial and El Paseo Jewelers will host the second annual Celebrate CV, a Coachella Valley community event on Saturday, December 30th from 3:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the corner of San Pablo & Magnesia Falls in
Palm Desert, California. The event benefits the Palm Desert YMCA and features a live performance by Grand Ole Opry member and Big Loud Records Artist, Lauren Alaina.

Celebrate CV will recognize several local community groups and individuals throughout the festivities,
including:
Pocial High School Athlete of the Week winners from the Desert Sun
Coops Hoops, a non-profit program sending underprivileged children to basketball camp
Accuity Optical Amazing Teachers from the Desert Sun
Children from Do the Right Thing program recognizing youth for positive behavior,
accomplishments, and good deeds
With the support from the City of Palm Desert, admission is free. Attendees can expect booths
showcasing local businesses, appearances by the Rancho Mirage High School Rattler Regiments, Desert Hot Springs Golden Eagle Regiment, Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs High School Band, a kids-zone with family-friendly activities, as well as food trucks, a full bar and wine tasting for adults featuring 12 wines from Stuft Pizza Bar and Grill. Live musical performances are planned throughout the event, culminating with a performance by multi-platinum artist Lauren Alaina.
