It’s been one year since the start of the crisis. We’ve been at the epicenter from the beginning with some very first cases here in the county, and harder hit than many other areas due to tourism and events.
It’s hard to put into words what we’ve seen, heard, felt and done. There has been confusion and fear and anger … and kindness and resiliency and creativity and patience and prayers.
We’ve done a ton of live videos and social media to safely show up and say we are here – meeting you right where you are. We’ve fed nurses, donated PPE, created new partnerships, formed alliances, joined coalitions, filtered and sent information quickly and been your voice.
We’ve worked nonstop toward recovery which has taken many shapes and meanings. Safety, JOBS, community, families and business are still priority.
