Area Business Leaders Unite with Local Business and Health Professionals

March 09, 2020

Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce, Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce, Palm Desert Area Chamber of Commerce, Thousand Palms Chamber of Commerce, Desert Valley Builders Association, Desert United, Desert Elite and Desert Business Association are united in the effort to support valley businesses and jobs.

Area business leaders stand with local businesses and health professionals to send a message of prudence and preparedness and we are proud to say that Coachella Valley is open for business.

Our valley employers will continue to take all necessary safety precautions and set the standard in keeping safe environments for shoppers and diners as they go about their day to day business. The chambers of commerce share your goals of health and wellness so that we can remain an event destination at the height of our season.

We are supporting our members and area businesses as they prepare by training employees to use best practices. We encourage businesses to run and remain calm and careful. Creating healthy environments is key for consumer confidence. We are reminding our members that Riverside County Public Health is trained and prepared to respond to these situations.

Our Coachella Valley hotels are sparkling clean, our restaurants are ready to serve and impress, employees are excited and ready for high season and grocery stores are well stocked.

It is important to the economy and local jobs that the ANA Inspiration and the Coachella and Stagecoach Festivals take place. Coachella Valley will continue to be a premiere event destination, hosting trade shows and conferences with the highest level of hygiene and service.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention has issued no warning or restrictions on travel anywhere in the U.S. and the health risk to the general public remains low according to the California Department of Public Health.
