PALM SPRINGS, CA – The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians announces Tribal Council election results for their special election:

Reid D. Milanovich was elected to fulfill the remaining two-year term of the late Larry N. Olinger, Vice Chairman who passed away in July 2019.

The Tribal Council elections are a matter of tribal law, and are managed privately by the Election Board. The results of the October 15, 2019 election were certified and became final on Nov. 5, 2019 when the Tribal Council Vice Chairman was sworn in.

 

The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians is a federally recognized Indian Tribe located in Palm Springs, California, with more than 31,500  acres of reservation lands that spread across Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage and into the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto mountains.
